When players complete a side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom called “Decorate with Passion“, they can receive a rare item as a reward. This request comes to Link as a way to honor a weapon of a mentor by embellishing it with some sort of decoration. Given how vague this quest can be, players might struggle to figure out exactly what needs to be done, but thankfully the solution is quite simple.
The Decorate with Passion quest is given by the NPC Boraa at the Kara Kara Bazaar, a place where players may purchase a variety of items from different vendors in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Bazaar can be found at the coordinates (-3227, -2520, 0023) if players are struggling to find it. While it could help to have some Rupees here, players should be more concerned with Boraa’s mission to craft a weapon for her mentor, and “make it sparkle and radiate burning passion“.
How to Complete the Decorate with Passion Quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Link must give a specific weapon to Boraa as a reference to complete the “Decorate with Passion” quest by fusing a Ruby onto any weapon that players can find. Players might not try to use a Ruby at first, but talking to Boraa again after taking the quest reveals that the mentor is very allergic to Monster Parts, which could narrow down the search a little. Rubies are found in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom around rare ore deposits around Hyrule.
Players must fuse a Ruby onto any type of weapon and present it to Boraa as a reference to complete the “Decorate with Passion” quest.
First, players need to take out a Ruby from their inventory before dropping it on the ground and selecting any weapon. By using the Fuse ability with weapons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can attach the Ruby onto the weapon, which normally would grant fire damage to the improved tool.
Going over and talking to Boraa again lets players go through some dialogue until they can present the Ruby-infused weapon with the “What about this?” prompt. Boraa will happily take the weapon as a reference in the design for their mentor, finishing the quest and giving players a rare item from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as a reward.
Rewards from the Decorate with Passion Quest
Boraa gives players an Electric Keese Wing for their efforts, a Monster Part that produces electricity as a Material. Link may use this Wing to fuse powerful weapons with electricity elemental damage, or combine it with Critters to make Elixirs.
Players also could obtain yellow dye for clothing parts with this item, giving them another reason to complete the “Decorate with Passion” quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
