The Conners season 6 has been confirmed by ABC, even as the network has canceled other high-profile shows. The initial reports had been positive for the Roseanne spinoff, as it was revealed that cast member Sara Gilbert, who is also an executive producer, as well as John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, and Lecy Goranson are all in various stages of negotiation on new deals, making it likely a new season was going to happen.
Now, alongside eight other shows, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that ABC has renewed The Conners for season 6.
