In addition to original content created for the platform, Paramount Plus also streams content from networks owned by or affiliated with Paramount. Subscribers have access to shows that originally aired on CBS and MTV. The library of available content grows on a monthly basis, and the best TV shows on Paramount Plus include a mix of content available all at once and shows streaming on a weekly basis.

True Lies – Season 1

Harry and Helen after being kidnapped in the True Lies pilot episode.

  • Streaming weekly beginning March 1

True Lies adapts the movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. In the original movie, a spy’s wife spends a large portion of the film thinking her husband is cheating on her before learning he is actually a spy. The series brings the story out of the 1990s and into the modern day.

It also stars Steve Howey (Reba, Shameless) and Ginger Gonzaga (She-Hulk: Attorney At Law), which means the comedic timing for the duo should be on point. The new series will see the lies uncovered a little earlier, as Helen (Gonzaga) discovers her husband is a spy much earlier than in the movie. True Lies is set to fix the movie’s more problematic elements by having Harry and Helen combine forces right away.
