Teresa Giudice is attempting to create her own VIP experience for The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans, but she’s coming under fire as the attempt seems less than exciting. It’s not uncommon for the reality star to be criticized about something, but usually it’s for something outlandish she did on the Bravo show. Controversy surrounding RHONJ star Teresa Giudice‘s business choices is nothing new, though when it comes to her Real Housewives storylines, she’s also in the hot seat over her feud with Melissa Gorga that’s playing out in RHONJ season 13.

On Instagram, Teresa posted about her new VIP experience for fans with a monthly fee, which also enters them in to win an all-expense paid trip to New Jersey with Teresa. Some fans felt that the experience wasn’t worth the price, and neither was the possible trip a fan could win.

User @notgoog927 said, “I wouldn’t have lunch with her if I got paid,” in reference to the perks of the all-inclusive trip, while user @allie_calhoon said, “No thanks. I think we’ve experienced quite enough of your BS for the last 14 years,” clearly not interested in the experience at all. Another critic told her to “get a life.”

RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice & Luis Ruelas Come Under Fire For Controversies

Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas on the sidewalk

Teresa and new husband Luis Ruelas have recently been under fire in the media. First and foremost, Luis recently said on RHONJ that he has info on all of the women but then quickly backtracked that claim. It seems like the kind of claim that doesn’t come out of nowhere; it has to be based at least partly in truth. There is also the allegation that Luis gave Teresa’s daughters fake Cartier bracelets for Christmas. While nothing was confirmed there, it does not put Luis in a good light.

Teresa’s new VIP experience is an interesting choice for her moving forward. It seems like her own version of a Patreon page, which is a very common platform for podcasters to give their fans more content. Teresa is doing the same with her VIP experience, but other than behind the scenes content, it is unknown what else will be on the site. Teresa spoke about other pieces of media that would be exclusive, but many of the things sound very similar.

It is unclear what the platform will really look like until fans get on it and are able to see how it actually functions. Maybe Teresa will include some behind the scenes footage or info from RHONJ, which could encourage many more fans to subscribe. At the end of the day, the entire platform seems like a bit of a cash grab considering how much Teresa makes from RHONJ, but if someone doesn’t feel that way, they don’t have to subscribe.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
