Superfly Is Probably A Mutated Form Of Baxter Stockman

Superfly is an interesting enough villain on his own, but it seems likely that the character is a mutated form of another classic TMNT character: Baxter Stockman.
Baxter Stockman is one of the most popular TMNT villains, with him being a scientist that often experiments on mutants. One of Stockman’s most popular stories involves him accidentally turning himself into a mutant fly, leading him to a life of crime. Baxter Stockman is already confirmed to appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, voiced by Giancarlo Esposito. While the voice actors are different between the two characters, it would be weird to have Superfly and Stockman have no connection, meaning that it’s likely the film will reveal that Superfly is a mutated form of Stockman.

Superfly believes that humans will never accept mutants, thinking that the two cannot co-exist. Because of this, Superfly is leading an army of mutants to seemingly overthrow humanity, and the Turtles will have to stop it.
Superfly has curated a pretty powerful army, with the film already confirming several mutants that will appear. TMNT: Mutant Mayhem‘s cast of characters features Bebop, Rocksteady, Wingnut, Ray Filet, Genghis Frog, Leatherhead, and Mondo Gecko, all of whom will presumably ally with Superfly. Superfly is gearing up to be a dangerous new foe in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, but he may be hiding a big Baxter Stockman secret.
