The chief stew on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy Kelliher, shared why she became so triggered by comments her friend, Colin MacRae, made during an argument. Even though Daisy has often been seen as easygoing, she does have moments when her anxiety takes over. Sailing Yacht season 4 has shown Daisy reaching her breaking point.

While speaking with Boredbat, Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Daisy Kelliher opened up about the love triangle between her, Colin, and Gary King. All three yachties have been close friends for years, but something changed their dynamic during Sailing Yacht season 4. Daisy revealed that a recent episode was hard to watch, noting it was “strange” because she ended up getting “angry.” Daisy shared that she doesn’t feel Colin or Gary knew just how upset she actually was, noting they probably assumed she was just an “emotional woman.”

Daisy Kelliher Doesn’t Think Below Deck Sailing Yacht Has A “Boys Club”

Even though Gary and Colin have always been extremely close, Daisy doesn’t believe there is a boys club on the vessel. For the chief stew, there was a “lack” of understanding from the men. According to Daisy, if Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers look close enough, they can see that both men have lacked empathy for her situation over the last two seasons. Daisy went on to describe numerous times she reached out to share that she didn’t feel supported.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 will show Daisy and Colin falling for one another. The chief engineer had been dating his longtime girlfriend but revealed in the season premiere that he was single. Before the fight, Daisy had already voiced her approval for Colin, noting he was easy to talk to. The next episode teased that Colin and Daisy will be smooching in the galley stairs, leaving many to wonder if this is the start of a new boatmance.

It was reported that Gary didn’t take the hookup too kindly and was on the outs with both Daisy and Colin for a while. The chief officer kissed Daisy during Sailing Yacht season 3, but the two just remained friends. Gary has always been known as the playboy of the boat, as he often jumps from woman to woman. Even though Daisy was having a hard time, she and the men seemed to be back on track with their friendship. The rest of Sailing Yacht season 4 is set to showcase Daisy and Colin’s budding relationship as they try their best to keep it all a secret from everyone else, including Captain Glenn.
