During a main quest of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players have to try and solve a mysterious riddle after figuring out how to cross a Watery Bridge in the sky to reveal an important area in the story. As part of the “Clues to the Sky” mission, the riddle asks players to study the environment in search of a specific landmark. Unfortunately, with no clear steps explained, this quest can be difficult to figure out.

The riddle is given to players after they read the ancient Zora text with Jihato, saying, “Stand upon the land of the sky fish, and behold its lofty view. Among the floating rocks you see, a droplet waits for you.“. Before players begin to interpret the important parts of this puzzle, they will need some King’s Scales, which are given to Link by King Dorephan in the Pristine Sanctum area of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Find The Land of the Sky Fish in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The first part of the riddle gives players a location they must travel to, the Land of the Sky Fish, an elusive Sky Island. Found around the Lanayru Sky Archipelago to the eastern section above Mipha’s Court, players can see an island that their map calls Floating Scales Island. An easy way to get close to this island would be to fast travel to Ihen-a Shrine or by using a nearby Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The only path shown by the environment to Floating Scales Island is a brown waterfall coming from the island itself, flowing down to the land below. If players have the Zora Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they can swim upstream through the waterfall, going up until they reach the island above. Although Zonai contraptions that fly could also take players here, using this armor set remains the best way.

How To Use the Droplet on Floating Scales Island

The location of the Watery Bridge is supposedly connected to a Droplet floating among the rocks off Floating Scales Island. By looking off the Sky Island’s peak to the southwest, players may spot a collection of green stones in the shape of a Droplet hanging in the air. Link must shoot an arrow fused with a King’s Scale through the droplet to complete the instructions of the riddle given in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Shortly after players solve the Watery Bridge riddle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by firing this arrow, a brief cutscene plays out showing where to go next, into a strange whirlpool opened up in East Reservoir Lake back toward Mipha’s Court.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the anticipated follow-up to Breath of the Wild, released in 2017. A rare occurrence in Zelda titles, Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel instead of loosely connected. In Tears of the Kingdom, Link will take to the skies and learn about a mysterious kingdom in the clouds. Additionally, he will discover the secrets of the dark ones that dwell below and above the earth. The sequel is being built on the same engine as the original, with unique physics tools again being utilized. However, little about the plot and gameplay is known.
