Kitchen Nightmares is finally returning to Fox after a decade off the air. Produced by ITV Studios America, the reality show saw chef Gordon Ramsay revive failing restaurants by spending a week with them and their owners. An adaptation of the British series, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, it premiered on Fox back in 2007 and included over 90 episodes. Kitchen Nightmares featured memorable moments and Ramsay’s personality brought in a lot of viewers but in 2014, it was announced that the show would end after seven seasons.

Now, according to Deadline, Kitchen Nightmares is being revived by the network, with Studio Ramsay producing future episodes. The news came ahead of Fox’s Upfront, and the series will likely have a 2024 release date, but not much is known about its progress.

How Successful Will The New Kitchen Nightmares Be?

Although Kitchen Nightmares concluded, the show is still popular among audiences and fans of Gordon Ramsay, and its YouTube channel continues to post content from past episodes. Because Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back drew steady ratings, along with other shows led by the celebrity chef, it seems likely that the Kitchen Nightmares revival will be just as successful. Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back only aired for three seasons, but it also focused on Ramsay saving restaurants around the country.

Ramsay has found success appearing on several Fox shows, including Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, and Next Level Chef, all of which remain on the air. With these competition programs getting renewed, future episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, a series that follows a different format, might be coming at a good time. Since Ramsay serves as an executive producer on those other shows, his decision to return for Kitchen Nightmares will excite a lot of viewers.

Ramsay has also built a large fanbase over the years, and by staying active on social media, including TikTok, it has managed to grow. With some of Ramsay’s comments becoming memes too, it will be interesting to see what he says and does during new episodes of Kitchen Nightmares. Those looking forward to Kitchen Nightmares‘ return on Fox can be sure to keep an eye out for any further updates.
