Now, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has made a post showing how impressed he is with a billboard for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
The billboard features a new poster from the series highlighting Daryl and a broken Eiffel Tower behind him. Morgan is clearly hyped about the upcoming spinoff and Reedus’ starring role.
Will Daryl & Negan Ever See Each Other Again?
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will see Daryl wash ashore in France, trying to find his way home while helping a group of survivors deliver a child named Laurent across the country. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1 ending saw Negan forced into working for the Dama, the villainous ruler of Manhattan. It appears that both characters are too far apart for them to reunite anytime soon.
However, it’s possible Negan and Daryl will see each other again as the zombie franchise continues to expand its universe. The upcoming Rick and Michonne spinoff The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will see the return of the CRM, an expansive group operating in various areas of the United States. While it’s unconfirmed if the CRM will be the biggest villain in the franchise, their size and scale indicate they could be the group that brings everyone together again at some point in the future.
For now, though, it appears Negan and Daryl will not be reuniting anytime soon. However, that clearly won’t stop Morgan from supporting The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and its expansion of the zombie universe. It should prove interesting how Daryl’s new adventure adds to the franchise when he returns to TV on September 10.
