Below Deck alum Ben Robinson was a part of the franchise for six years. He’s admitted that he has no plans to return to his yacht chef job.

The Below Deck alum Chef Ben Robinson admitted that he has no plans to return to any franchise series in the future. It has been more than three years since Ben was seen on screens, after he saved the day during Below Deck Mediterranean season 4. Ben was called to the boat towards the end of the season, after their initial chef was fired. The third stew Anastasia Surmava filled in as chef for most of that season. However, she quickly realized that she couldn’t handle the pressures of the galley.

Before appearing on Below Deck Med, Chef Ben appeared on the original Bravo series, which takes place in Caribbean waters. He was the full-time chef on seasons 1 and 2, but didn’t return to season 3 until the very end. Below Deck‘s Ben Robinson reappeared when Chef Leon Walker left the boat due to his ongoing feud with chief stew, Kate Chastain. Ben came back for season 4, making that season his last on the original Below Deck series.

Although Chef Ben is firm about not returning to the kitchen aboard any Below Deck vessels, he still has involvement in the franchise. Below Deck: Galley Talk season 4 was recently announced, with Ben appearing as one of the hosts. Ben’s previous stints on Galley Talk went extremely well because he was so humorous, and offered valuable insights about the show. Although it’s not the permanent involvement that some may have wanted for Chef Ben, his presence on Galley Talk is reassuring, as it proves that Ben isn’t entirely done with the series yet. Therefore, there is a lot to look forward to.

After years as a Below Deck yacht chef, Ben Robinson has decided to end his career in that nautical niche. He had a great run cooking for guests and entertaining Below Deck viewers.
