Initially getting his start on screen with Malaysian productions and the BBC’s The Travel Show, Golding garnered worldwide recognition for his turn in the 2018 adaptations of the rom-com Crazy Rich Asians and crime thriller A Simple Favor. Though he would return to the former genre by reuniting with the latter’s director Paul Feig on Last Christmas, Golding would begin favoring more serious fare in 2019 with the likes of Monsoon and Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen.

Outside of Assassin Club, Golding is starring in the long-gestating animated adaptation of the fantasy action-adventure novel The Tiger’s Apprentice, slated for a January 2024 release, as well as The Old Guard 2, Netflix’s Charlize Theron-led sequel, and is currently filming his second collaboration with Ritchie on The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently confirmed a new G.I. Joe movie is being actively developed, so it will be interesting to see if Golding will get another chance at Snake Eyes and continue making a name for himself in the action genre.

Assassin Club arrives on digital on May 16.
