Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan in Star Wars becomes one of Darth Vader’s Inquisitors in incredible Ahsoka Tano cosplay. One of the many Star Wars retcons made by Star Wars: The Clone Wars was establishing that Anakin had a Padawan during the prequels. A few years later, the now Legends game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed would give Darth Vader an apprentice, Starkiller. More recently, Disney’s Star Wars canon introduced the Imperial Inquisitors, the closest thing to canon Vader apprentices.
Cosplayer Just Steph (@dark_sidecosplay) has shared some amazing Ahsoka Tano cosplay pictures and videos, imagining Ahsoka as an Inquisitor.
The cosplayer gave Ahsoka an Inquisitor costume based on Star Wars: Fallen Order’s Second Sister, including the cape. Seeing Ahsoka in Imperial uniform and carrying red lightsabers is quite shocking. However, the idea of “dark side Ahsoka” makes for a very interesting “what if…?” Star Wars scenario.
Ahsoka Once Almost Joined The Dark Side (Sort Of)
Ahsoka never truly risked joining the dark side of the Force, not even after Order 66. Darth Vader even tried to recruit Anakin’s Padawan during Star Wars Rebels’ “Twilight of the Apprentice,” but Ahsoka refused. However, during Clone Wars season 7’s final episodes, Ahsoka had the chance of teaming up with Maul to stop Darth Sidious and prevent the Sith from taking over the galaxy. Maul was surprisingly honest with Ahsoka, revealing that the Sith were about to destroy the Jedi Order.
Ahsoka did not accept Maul’s offer, but she did contemplate it. In fact, the only reason why Ahsoka did not team up with Maul was the mention of Anakin’s name. Maul claimed that Skywalker was the key to Darth Sidious’ plan, which Ahsoka refused to believe. In a tragic outcome, Maul was right about Skywalker’s fall to the dark side after all. However, Ahsoka would never accept killing Anakin, at least not until seeing what Skywalker had become with her own eyes.
Interestingly, the Inquisitors and Ahsoka have in Darth Vader/Anakin a common master. It seems that Anakin was a better teacher than Vader, though, as Ahsoka never had a problem dealing with Inquisitors. For example, Ahsoka Tano got her pair of white lightsabers after defeating an Inquisitor, the Sixth Brother, and purifying his lightsaber’s red kyber crystals. Ahsoka’s history with Anakin and Vader’s Inquisitors makes this Inquisitor Ahsoka Star Wars cosplay even cooler.
