90 Day Fiancé star Daniele Gates is slamming her haters on the internet by declaring they can never be like her. The 46-year-old reality TV newbie was first seen in Love In Paradise: The Caribbean season 2, during which Daniele got married to the Dominican Republican Yohan Geronimo. Daniele decided to move to the Dominican Republic after quitting her New York jobs. Shortly, after news of Daniele being bankrupt spread like wildfire, and it didn’t help that Daniele is not on her best behavior on screen either.
During a recent 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 episode, 90 Day Fiancé’s Daniele Gates grilled Yohan after finding out his ex had gotten an abortion which he didn’t tell her about. Daniele received severe criticism for the episode, and as per a video shared by Reddit user u/RemarkableMarket436, the yoga expert has lost her calm over some comments.
Daniele called out those who find her particularly triggering, hate her guts, or want her dead, or get angry every time they see her on television. “It’s because there’s something in me that you want, and you can’t have,” 90 Day Fiancé star Daniele told her attackers. According to Daniele, this something is her confidence.
90 Day Fiancé Star Daniele Claims She’s Been Called A ‘Dwarf’
Daniele mentioned she has people calling her a “dwarf” and “fat.” To these critics, Daniele said, “If that’s you that’s because I’m walking around like who the f*** I am like I know my worth.” Daniele claims to know what she brings to the table. According to her, these viewers “can’t do that” because they are too stuck in the idea that “patriarchy is culture or misogyny is culture.” In the comments, fans left some wild messages for 90 Day Fiancé star Daniele such as RibbonsandKeys writing, “Of course she knows her worth, bankruptcy paperwork requires it!” 90 Day Fiancé fan Totolin96 commented, “Girl, when 99% of people have an issue with you, you might be the problem.”
Daniele was called toxic by viewers following the scene where she snapped at Yohan because he’d lied to her. As per Yohan, discussing someone else’s abortion with Daniele was not a necessity since it had nothing to do with her. To which, Daniele reported that her problem was not with Yohan’s past but that she has a “problem with liars.” In Daniele’s own past, many exes had lied to her. One had even kept a family a secret from the New Yorker. She said she loved 90 Day Fiancé’s Yohan because she could trust him, and these “painful truths” made her doubt everything he’d ever said to her.
However, 90 Day Fiancé viewers were surprised at how insecure Daniele was to have made someone else’s problem her own. But at the same time, Daniele has kept major secrets from Yohan such as her not having filed for his spousal visa, and how he can never go to the U.S. to fulfill his dream. It’s quite likely Yohan was unaware of Daniele’s bankruptcy too. An abortion is private and Daniele was wrong in discussing Yohan’s ex’s experience on national TV. However, Daniele knows she’s bringing the drama on 90 Day Fiancé this season, and she seems to be wanting to do it off-screen too.
