Memphis Smith and Hamza Moknii from 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days season 5 have given their daughter a gender-neutral Japanese name.

A source has revealed what 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars, Memphis Smith and Hamza Moknii, have named their first child. The couple was last seen in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, during which Memphis flew to Tunisia to marry Hamza after knowing him for just eight months. Soon after the wedding, the duo got pregnant with their first child. On October 5, 2021, Memphis and Hamza welcomed their daughter.

90 Day Fiancé’s Memphis and Hamza are divorced after two years of marriage and are in a custody battle over their child. The couple avoids sharing many details about their baby girl on social media, but a source revealed what they named her. According to InTouch, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple has named their first child Kiori Love Moknii. While 90 Day Fiancé viewers haven’t seen the adorable face of Memphis and Hamza’s daughter, it is sweet that they now at least know her name. It isn’t known whether the name was suggested by Memphis or Hamza.

What Does Memphis & Hamza’s Daughter’s Name Mean

According to Japanese Names.Info, Memphis and Hamza’s daughter’s name is gender-neutral. The name appears to have originated in Japan, and it has a couple of meanings, including “joy,” “princess,” “precious,” and “hope.” Memphis and Hamza don’t appear to have Japanese roots, so it seems they learned about this name on the internet. Although the couple’s love story ended on a sad note, it is sweet to see them give their daughter “love” as her middle name.

While there is no doubt the Michigan native is a great mother, she gets sharp criticism for keeping Kiori away from her father. Hamza can be seen yearning to spend some time with his baby girl on social media, which makes Memphis look like a toxic mother. She has already made a couple of controversial choices that affect her two children from previous relationships, and now she is trying to keep her third child away from Hamza.

Still, Memphis isn’t the only one to be blamed for her failed relationship. The 90 Day Fiancé couple hasn’t revealed why they decided to split, but it is clear that Hamza chose to move to Chicago, which is a five-hour train ride from Michigan. He sabotaged his chances of rekindling his relationships with his baby mama and meeting his daughter frequently. If he really wanted to be a part of his new American family, he could have decided to stay very close to Memphis’ house. In any case, hopefully Kiori will experience both her father’s love and her mother’s.
