90 Day Fiancé star Kim Menzies recently took to her Instagram story, to give fans an update on her dating life as of recently. Kim first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 5, when she flew to Tanzania to meet her love Usman “SojaBoy” Umar in person for the first time. Kim and Usman later returned for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7, where Kim flew to Nigeria to meet Usman’s family after making their relationship official. Kim and Usman got engaged at the end of the season, but split and decided to end their relationship shortly afterward.
90 Day Fiancé’s Kim Menzies regularly interacts with fans on Instagram through Q&A’s on her story, and she recently answered several questions from fans regarding her current relationship status. One fan asked Kim if she was currently dating anyone, to which she replied “Nope….not yet. I don’t want to rush into anything and focus on me right now.” While Kim indicated that she was not ready for a serious relationship for the time being, she did hint at being ready to date sometime in the near future. Kim responded to a similar question by writing, “Not at this moment. But….I am open to dating again.”
90 Day Fiancé’s Kim & Usman Still Remain Good Friends
Despite their intense break-up, Kim and Usman have remained good friends and still communicate with one another regularly. Another fan asked Kim if she and Usman still spoke, as well as if she still felt any love for him. Kim replied that she had just gotten off of the phone with Usman, and answered “…we are friends ONLY. He will always have a place in my heart but that is all.” Kim made it evident during the Happily Ever After? Tell-All that she still cared about Usman, and wanted him to remain an important part of her life.
Kim has been on the receiving end of criticism throughout her time in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. She was often accused of allowing herself to be used by Usman, which made her seem desperate for him. However, it is evident that Kim truly loved Usman, as she has made it a priority to keep him in her life as a good friend. Kim has recently shown a different side of her personality to fans, one that comes across as more likable and enjoyable, as opposed to her segments with Usman on the show.
It is very possible that Kim could still continue in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, possibly by starring on an upcoming season of 90 Day: The Single Life. Kim has made it clear that she is open to dating at some point in the future, which makes her a perfect candidate for The Single Life. Kim is also a regular on Pillow Talk with her son Jamal Menzies, where the San Diego is fun and entertaining. While Kim may not be ready to jump back in the dating pool at this exact moment, it is likely that she will give love another shot sooner than later.
